Positives: Any books that tells kids we love them can't be all that bad, right?! The illustrations are adorable and I love how it encourages interaction as you read. We even make up our own things to add to the book!
Negatives: There is one page that I don't like at all. As it talks about the different emotions you love in your child it says "I love...your mad side." This simply isn't true in our house. I don't love my child's sinful anger and neither does God, but I do still love them when they are angry.
Talking Points: I use the page referring to anger to also teach them about how a holy God hates sin, including anger and yet sent His Son to save sinful people like me. Joshua 23:14-16, John 3:16, I Tim. 1:15
